Blues Collection Featured Artist:
Leap of Freight
If there's a straight-up, shoot-from-the-hip blues rock song on this compilation, then surely "Thinkin' Blues" is it. Leap of Freight's deft abilities in crafting a rock song is unparalleled. "Thinkin' Blues" is a song to which a man walks severely into the sunset or, if the mood strikes him, just sits back and grooves.
Mike Caron and Chas Williams, the duo behind Leap of Freight, were introduced in 2000 and have been playing together ever since. After forming Leap of Freight, putting out a record, and touring the region extensively, Mike and Chas employed the sax mastery of Jessica Rohloff and drum technique of Brent Thomas to form Electric Freight, Leap of Freight's full-sound cousin. Both LOF incarnations continue to tour and release new albums, and you can always depend on those two to rock.

Revolution is sending the sounds of undiscovered artists echoing across the music landscape.
This is about the freedom to create and be heard - to expose people to music they don't even know they want to hear - to give them the chance to discover. By working with independently owned businesses, visual artists, musicians and KTAO 101.9FM, the worlds most powerful solar radio station, we are able to present original songs released by independent musicians the way they wanted, not how some big record company thinks they should sound. "The Revolution Collection - Blues" is the second in a series from Revolution.
