"Crazy Little Dancin' Queen" is just an old-school, fun rock n' roll song. The riffs are solid, the vocals sweeping, and the lyrics just a little bit sleazy. It's only right for such a simple, well-crafted song to come from Billy Desmond, a veteran of the blues community for over 30 years. Growing up in southside Chicago's blues heyday, Desmond witnessed the glory of prime Muddy Waters, Junior Wells, Buddy Guy and James Cotton performances. Something like that you just don't come back from. Billy's been a blues man ever since.
